SUMMARY
Another BUSY day of player movement saw the following take place in our tracker:
Entries = 37 (-7 from day prior)
Signings = 143 (-19 from day prior)
Here is a look at the total breakdown from our Portal Tracker: Summary page:
With six days left in the window, we have reached over 3,700 players in our tracker. There are more that will find their way in after signing with FBS schools, especially the smaller ones. The 39% signing rate is a bit surprising and definitely faster than a year ago, as teams become more adept at this portal game. Time can not be wasted. That said, after the initial rush, we should see a settling down a bit, allowing time to be spent to fill out the rest of the rosters and some players will be out of luck. They will need to level down and have big seasons to work their way back up. We’ve seen that work before.
Let’s check-in on our top 15 players based on player rating:
WHAT AM I LOOKING AT HERE?
We are tracking roster talent churn. It’s important to note that this rating and ranking is 1.) portal-only and 2.) total roster talent churn. This means that we are counting every player who is coming and going to come up with this ranking. Later, we will dive into actual impacts by projecting rotational playing time. We had some questions about this and thought it important to describe in more detail.
TOP TEN :::::: view all >
We have a new leader in the clubhouse as the Arizona State Sun Devils have jumped the Indiana Hoosiers for the top spot in our portal talent churn rankings. The UCLA Bruins also jumped the team playing for the National Championship into second place as Bob Chesney is doing work early in his tenure in Westwood. Kansas jumps from #10 to #6 and we see Minnesota enter the top ten at #7. Texas Tech and Arkansas fall out.
We now have 19 of 136 teams in positive talent churn.

TRENDS
Top Ten Trending UP:
There was a time early on in this portal cycle that Oklahoma State was at the very bottom. The exodus following the disaster of a 2025 season was swift. Now that Chad Morris has had time to come in, bring his top player from North Texas and add a few more here and there, the Cowboys are very much on the upward trend. They are the biggest mover again yesterday, picking up 40 spots to #75, squarely in the middle of the pack now. The big name(s) from yesterday joining the movement is former Wake Forest WR Chris Barnes [15.3] and former UCLA LB Isaiah Chisolm [13.4]. Impressive.
Another new coach is making some moves, as Alex Golesh at Auburn picked up five players yesterday, including:
DL Nate Johnson [14.9] << from Missouri
RB Bryson Washington [14.5] << from Baylor
DB Andre Jordan Jr. [14.4] << from UCLA
DL Saint Farrior [12.7] << from Appalachian State
TE Jake Johnson [11.4] << from North Carolina

Notes: YER = Years of Eligibility remaining.
A ‘+’ indicates a potential additional year for a medical hardship waiver for the 2025 season.
K Jake Weinberg [14.9], leaving Florida State
Weinberg was a highly touted prospect ranked as the second-best kicker in his class by Kohl’s Kicking. He took over starting duties for the Seminoles as a redshirt freshman in 2025, where he successfully converted all 46 of his point-after attempts. However, he faced challenges with field goals, finishing the 2025 season 12-of-19 with a long of 46 yards. Notably, he demonstrated exceptional leg strength on kickoffs, recording touchbacks on 56 of his 61 attempts for a 91.8% touchback rate.DB Carter Stoutmire [14.5], leaving Colorado
A native of Plano, Texas, Stoutmire is a versatile 5’11”, 210-pound defensive back who transitioned from cornerback to safety during his tenure in Boulder. Despite missing four games due to injury in 2025, he started seven of the eight contests he appeared in and recorded 38 total tackles. His 2025 campaign included five pass breakups, a forced fumble, and two quarterback hurries. Stoutmire arrived at Colorado as a three-star recruit and has been praised for his leadership and “Swiss Army knife” ability to play multiple roles in the secondary.RB Gemari Sands [14.4], leaving Florida Atlantic
Sands is a 6’0”, 195-pound redshirt junior from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who just completed a breakout 2025 season. He led the Owls’ rushing attack with 465 yards on 105 carries, averaging 4.4 yards per attempt. Beyond his rushing production, he was a significant factor in the passing game, hauling in 40 receptions for 217 yards. Sands previously attended the powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas High School before signing with FAU in 2022. He enters the portal with two years of eligibility remaining.DL Bishop Thomas [14.3], leaving Georgia State
Thomas saw action in all 12 games for the Panthers during the 2025 season. He recorded 48 total tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks, and notched a career-high seven tackles in a game against App State. His journey has been well-traveled, as he previously spent time at Colorado (2023) and Florida State (2022) before arriving in Atlanta. Originally a three-star recruit from Bishop Moore Catholic in Florida, Thomas has now utilized his redshirt year and enters the portal again as he seeks his fourth collegiate home.DL Enai White [14.0], leaving Penn State
Originally a consensus four-star recruit from Philadelphia, the 6’5”, 280-pound White arrived at Penn State as a transfer from Texas A&M. During the 2025 season, he appeared in eight games and recorded three tackles and one sack, primarily serving in a reserve role after moving from defensive end to defensive tackle. Injuries have been a recurring theme for White, as a serious knee issue limited him to only six combined contests during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. He has one year of eligibility remaining.DL Jayvon Parker [14.0], leaving Washington
A massive 6’3”, 330-pound defensive tackle, Parker chose to enter the transfer portal alongside his twin brother, Armon. Over 26 career games with the Huskies, he totaled 19 tackles and 1.5 sacks. His 2024 season was cut short by a torn Achilles tendon suffered in late September, but he returned to the field in 2025. Despite limited stats in the 2025 season, he remained a piece of the defensive line rotation. He and his brother were originally recruited to Washington from Detroit, Michigan, during the Kalen DeBoer era.DL CJ Mims [14.0], leaving North Carolina
Mims is a 6’2”, 300-pound defensive tackle who joined the Tar Heels in 2025 after two seasons at East Carolina. He played in all 12 games during the 2025 campaign, recording 26 tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble while logging over 350 snaps. A native of Vanceboro, North Carolina, he was a key interior presence for UNC, earning high PFF grades for his performances against Stanford and Wake Forest. Before his collegiate career, Mims was a standout at West Craven High School, where he was ranked among the top prospects in his state.QB Walker Eget [13.5], leaving San Jose State
Eget is a 6’3”, 225-pound senior quarterback from Santa Clarita, California, who put up impressive numbers in 2025 despite a mid-season leg injury. He threw for 3,051 yards and 17 touchdowns this past season, highlighted by a 458-yard performance against Hawaii. Interestingly, Eget revealed he played through a torn ACL suffered in 2024 to finish his career with over 5,500 total passing yards and 30 touchdowns. Known for his accuracy, he once held a streak of 268 consecutive pass attempts without an interception, the third-longest in Mountain West history. He should garner some power four interest.DB Ricky Fletcher [13.2], leaving Ole Miss
Fletcher is a long and physical cornerback who joined Ole Miss after a productive stint at South Alabama. In his lone season with the Rebels in 2025, he recorded 11 tackles and two pass breakups across eight games, including action in the Fiesta Bowl against Miami. He missed the entire 2024 season with a back injury but returned to full health for the 2025 campaign. Originally from Durant, Mississippi, Fletcher was a three-star recruit who also excelled in basketball and track, running a 50.27 400-meter dash in high school.DB Blake Ruffin [12.8], leaving Louisville
A local product from Trinity High School in Louisville, Kentucky, the 6’3”, 205-pound Ruffin spent two seasons with the Cardinals after an All-American career at FCS Eastern Illinois. After redshirting the 2024 season due to injury, he appeared in 13 games in 2025 primarily on special teams, recording eight tackles and a fumble recovery. During his peak 2023 season at EIU, he was a Second-Team AP FCS All-American who led his conference with four interceptions and 63 tackles. Ruffin is known for his large frame and range as a free safety, attributes that made him a highly coveted portal addition for Coach Jeff Brohm in 2024. He is seeking a larger defensive role for his final year of eligibility.

LB Rasheem Biles [17.0] Signed with: Texas << from Pittsburgh
The Texas Longhorns have secured a massive addition in Rasheem Biles, who enters the program after a breakout 2025 season. Standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 220 pounds, Biles was a Second-Team All-ACC selection this past year, racking up 101 tackles and leading the conference with 17.0 tackles for loss. Tennessee has landed a high-ceiling prospect in Chaz Coleman. During his true freshman campaign at Penn State in 2025, the 6-foot-4, 240-pound edge rusher appeared in nine games, recording 8 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and a sack. His frame and basketball background make him a unique physical specimen in the SEC. He enters a Tennessee defensive line rotation that returns several key contributors, setting up a high-stakes competition for snaps during spring practice.DL Sahir West [15.4] Signed with: UCLA << from James Madison
UCLA bolsters its defensive front with Sahir West, a productive interior lineman from the Sun Belt. During the 2025 season, West was a disruptive force for James Madison, totaling 34 tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss. He will join a Bruins defense transitioning through roster changes, where he is expected to battle for a spot in the two-deep rotation against returning upperclassmen.WR Chris Barnes [15.3] Signed with: Oklahoma State << from Wake Forest
Oklahoma State adds a vertical threat in Chris Barnes. In 2025 at Wake Forest, Barnes hauled in 38 receptions for 512 yards and four touchdowns, serving as a reliable target in a high-tempo offense. Standing 6-foot-2, he provides a physical mismatch on the perimeter. He enters an Oklahoma State wide receiver room that is traditionally deep, meaning he will have to beat out established returning starters to earn a WR1 or WR2 role in 2026.P Gabriel Russo [15.3] Signed with: Pittsburgh << from Idaho State
Pittsburgh has addressed its special teams needs by signing Gabriel Russo. During the 2025 season at Idaho State, Russo averaged 44.2 yards per punt, with 18 kicks downed inside the 20-yard line. His leg strength was a standout attribute at the FCS level. He arrives in Pittsburgh to compete directly with the incumbent punters for the primary starting job.DL Tomiwa Durojaiye [15.3] Signed with: South Carolina << from Illinois
South Carolina continues to build through the trenches with the addition of Tomiwa Durojaiye. In 2025, he was a key rotational piece for Illinois, contributing 23 tackles and 4.0 sacks while showcasing his versatility to play both inside and outside. He will face a significant position battle in Columbia, as the Gamecocks return several veteran starters on the defensive line for the 2026 season.DL Nate Johnson [14.9] Signed with: Auburn << from Missouri
Auburn adds size and SEC experience with Nate Johnson. This past 2025 season at Missouri, Johnson recorded 19 tackles and 2.5 sacks in a reserve role. At 6-foot-3 and 260 pounds, he offers the flexibility to play multiple techniques along the front. He will likely compete for a spot in the heavy rotation that Auburn employs under their current defensive scheme.DB Dejuan Lane [14.7] Signed with: Tennessee << from Penn State
Dejuan Lane follows his Penn State teammate to Knoxville to bolster the Volunteers’ secondary. As a freshman in 2025, Lane appeared primarily on special teams and as a backup safety, recording 5 tackles. His 6-foot-2 frame is a notable attribute for a defensive back. He joins a Tennessee secondary that is looking to increase its depth, placing him in a wide-open competition for a rotational safety spot.RB Bryson Washington [14.5] Signed with: Auburn << from Baylor
Auburn adds depth to its backfield with Bryson Washington. In 2025, Washington emerged as a versatile weapon for Baylor, rushing for 415 yards and 5 touchdowns while also contributing in the passing game. He joins a crowded Auburn backfield, meaning he will have to compete with returning starters and other transfers for touches in the 2026 offensive game plan.WR Tristian Gardner [14.5] Signed with: Coastal Carolina << from Missouri State
Coastal Carolina secures a productive playmaker in Tristian Gardner. In the 2025 season at Missouri State, Gardner posted 45 catches for 680 yards and 6 touchdowns.
