Let's take a look at the top depth chart impacts with news breaking over the last 24 hours and get a list of the top "Questionable" and "Game-Time" injuries for this week seven Saturday...
We make hundreds of tweaks and edits to our 134 live FBS depth charts over at CFBDepth.com; this feature is designed to pull out some of the more impactful ones for you. We went through the weekday games (Tuesday-Thursday) and pulled out some of the more glaring volume changes we noticed, as well. Finally, as we prep for week seven Saturday, we’ll also list out the top remaining “questionable” and “game-time decisions” that may impact games today…enjoy!
Purdue ::: QB Hudson Card will miss the Illinois game after being announced 'out' on Friday. He is in concussion protocol and won't be available to play. Ryan Browne will make his first career start for the Boilers against Illinois.
Ole Miss ::: WR Tre Harris is updgraded to probable for week seven against LSU. The star wide out is Jaxson Dart's top option in the passing game.
LSU ::: The Tigers look to be without another wide receiver heading into week seven as CJ Daniels is now deemed 'doubtful' to play against Ole Miss.
Tennessee ::: The Vols will have their full crew of options for Nico Iamaleava come week seven Saturday as Dont'e Thornton joins Bru McCoy and Squirrel White as 'probable' against Florida.
North Texas ::: DB David Spruiells will enter the Portal and redshirt this season. He is one of three indefinitely suspended members of the Mean Green stemming from an off-season incident.
|||||| INITIAL UPDATES FROM WEEK SEVEN WEEKDAY GAMES
Middle Tennessee ::: The Blue Raiders get back their starting RT J'Shun Bodiford in week seven after a lengthy absense.
James Madison ::: K Noe Ruelas did not kick for the Dukes on Thursday evening of week seven. This was unexpected and his performance thus far would indicate that this is more likely an injury-related absense, rather than a performance-related one. We'll track it and ask around.
Coastal Carolina ::: QB Noah Kim, a transfer from Michigan State, saw the field in relief of Ethan Vasko late in a blowout loss to James Madison in week seven. No change is expected going forward.
New Mexico State ::: QB Santino Marucci was in concussion protocol for the second half of the week seven game against Jacksonville State. We saw Parker Awad make his return to the field after an injury he had himself. RB Monte Watkins was also injured and remains in the protocol. Both Marucci and Watkins will be forced to sit week eight as they play on Tuesday.
Florida International ::: RB Kejon Owens took the bulk of the carries in week seven against Liberty, getting 15 of them (52 yards with a score). Lexington Joseph fell to just seven carries in this one (26 yards). Adjustment made to give Owens more of the carry share going forward.
Liberty ::: RB Quinton Cooley has pulled away from Billy Lucas to become the lead back for the Flames going forward. He took 29 carries for 174 yards and a couple of scores against FIU in week seven.
